State owned BPCL chairman and managing director Ashok Sinha would be demitting office on 18 August 2010. This will be after the completion of his 5 year tenure.  The board meeting decision was informed by the company in a statement. Sinha had earlier this month given a three month notice to the Government indicating his intention to demit office on completion of his tenure.
