BPCL net profit at Rs 703.18 crore dips 81 percent YoY

State-run Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has posted net profit of Rs 703.18 crore as against Rs 3,628.02 crore (YoY) for the quarter ended 31 March 2010 which is a 81 percent less. Standalone net sales increased to Rs 37,550.90 crore from Rs 26,505.03 crore (YoY). Total Income has increased from Rs 271153.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 to Rs 381587million for the quarter ended March 31, 2010.

For FY10, it has reported consolidated net sales of Rs 123,816.72 crore as against Rs 136,557.12 crore and net profit of Rs 1,632.36 crore versus Rs 633.76 crore (YoY).
