BS Transcom enter off-grid applications
BS Transcom Ltd, a Hyderabad based infrastructure solution provider for the telecom and power sectors is planning to enter off-grid renewable energy applications space.
The company has developed a hybrid power generation system based on solar and wind for the telecom towers. “After continuous testing at one of our client’s site for 40 days, we found that only for 100 hours out of those 40 days, the tower had to be run on diesel operated generators,” said company’s managing director Rajesh Agarwal.
“We are currently in the process of getting our system approved from independent agencies and then plan to offer it to our other telecom clients,” he said The company has tied up with Tata BP Solar for the solar panels.
