Smart grids technology is now taking it’s step towards becoming a reality in India. The Union Minister of Power Shri Sushilkumar Shinde has launched the India Smart Grid Forum, the first initiative of its kind in the power sector, in New Delhi. This task force will be the key group for all smart grid related activities. The IET has organised this day-long programme with aim to bring together local and international experts to discuss the smart grid technology in India.
