A joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed amongst NTPC, BHEL, NBPPL for identifying the key activities to be undertaken during the year by NTPC BHEL Power Projects Pvt Ltd (NBPPL) for the year 2010-11. On this occasion, chairman and managing director, NTPC R S Sharma and chairman and managing director, BHEL, B P Rao expressed their continued support in achieving the targets by NBPPL.

The MoU was signed in the presence Directors of NTPC , BHEL and  senior officers from NTPC, BHEL and NBPPL.

NBPPL will be setting up manufacturing facilities in Andhra Pradesh. Company has already taken up EPC work for Namrup Gas Based   Project (100 MW) in Assam & Palatana Gas Based Project (726 MW) in Tripura. Company expects EPC order booking of more than Rs.7000 Cr by the end of this year.

NTPC-BHEL Power Project Ltd. (NBPPL), a Joint Venture of NTPC and BHEL has been set up for capacity building in manufacturing of power plant equipments.
